Day 01: Arrive Mexico City
Arrrival at Mexico City airport. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 02: Mexico City
In the morning, visit to the Main Square: Zócalo, Cathedral, Government Palace, Diego Rivera's murals. We will continue to Reforma avenue and Chapultepec .Then visit to Anthropology Museum, one of the most importants in the world. You may stay there on your own or go back to the hotel. We suggest an optional tour to Xohimilco´s water canals. Overnight.
Day 03: Mexico/Queretaro/San Miguel de Allende
Departure to Querétaro and visit some notable buildings with fine cantera stone : the Aqueduct, the Ex-Cross Convent and Historic Downtown. Head to San Miguel de Allende. Arrival. We will visit this peaceful city where many intellectuals and retired people live in. San Miguel's Parish with the Holy House's Chapel, the Inquisitor House and the San Francisco church are the most remarkable buildings in town. You may enjoy a great variety of cafeterias and restaurants. Overnight.
Day 04: San Miguel de Allende/Dolores Hidalgo/Guanajuato
Breakfast. Departure to Dolores Hidalgo, where in 1810 the father Don Miguel Hidalgo began the Independence War. Also José Alfredo Jiménez, one of the most famous musician composers, was born there. Continuation to Guanajuato, an old mining city with a great cultural tradition, seat of the International Cervantine Festival on October. Arrival. In the afternoon we will enjoy walking by this romantic city: little squares, narrow streets, underground-alleys. Sightseeing :the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, the Juárez Theater, the Kiss alley, the Valencian´s Mine and the University. Other attractions are : the Quixote museum, Diego Rivera's house and the Mummies
Day 05: Guanajuato/Tlaquepaque/Guadalajara
Breakfast.Departure to Guadalajara, in route we will find Tlaquepaque, a very nice town distinguished by the work of its artisans . Arrival to Guadalajara. Afternoon at your leisure to view this colonial city, one of the largest and modern cities in Mexico, the land of Tequila and Mariachi music. Overnight.
Day 06: Guadalajara
Breakfast. City tour including: Cathedral, Cabañas Hospice with Orozco´s splendid murals paintings, considered to be one of Mexico's most important 20th century works of art. Plaza Tapatia, government Palace, Degollado Theater, Optionally you may visit Tequila, where the main Haciendas (distilleries) of this liquor are located. Overnight.
Day 07: Guadalajara/Patzcuaro/Morelia
Breakfast. We leave for Pátzcuaro " Heaven's Gate". Ensconced next to the lake of the same name, Patzcuaro still has its old ,rustic, urban design with its cobblestone streets and tile roofed houses. The plazas and buildings maintain their colonial look. Plateresque and baroque churches, craft shops and nooks steeped in legend. Sightseeing: Vasco de Quiroga Square, Handcraft House "Casa de los Once Patios", Our Lady's Health Shrine, House of Culture.
Day 08 Morelia/Mexico City
Breakfast. Departure to Morelia City, a World Heritage site. We will visit religious and civic buildings such as the Cathedral, the Palace of Justice, Clavijero Palace, the Aqueduct and the Merced church. Continuation to Mexico City. Overnight .
