Brazil Tour, Land of Contrasts

Brazil - with this term one associates endless Amazon jungle, wonderful beaches, Rio de Janeiro, carnival and samba. This is all correct but in reality, Brazil is much more, a huge country of the superlatives. 

Brazil, a country of immense proportions and contrasts, has a mysterious attraction for many people. With a surface of 8,5 million km², Brazil is approximately as big as Europe and covers half of the South American continent. 

The climate changes from the permanent warm, tropic north over all subtropic variants to the moderate South. Since the 16th century - when Portuguese have begun to settle in the country - Brazil had always a magic attraction on foreigners. First there was the gold and then rubber and coffee and today it is above all the rhythm and the exotic that attracts tourists. People over there show a lot of happiness, kindness and spontaneity. The biggest country of South America is a mirror of fascinating picture.

The itinerary will require a Brazil Airpass which is not included in the price. 

Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro transfer from the airport to the hotel. Overnight 

Day 02: Rio de Janeiro 

Half day Sugar Loaf Tour - (B) 

Day 03: Rio de Janeiro 

Today is free for leisure - or optional half day visit to the Corcovado (B) 

In the morning guests you will leave Rio de Janeiro and take a flight to Iguaçu. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Afternoon tour of the falls Brazilian side. (B) 

Day 05: Iguassu 

Today visit of the Argentinean side of the falls.). (B) 

Day 06 : Iguassu/Belo Horizonte/Ouro Preto 

Transfer to the airport for flight via Sao Paulo to Belo Horizonte. Upon arrival in Belo Horizonte transfer to the colonial city of Ouro Preto for overnight.(B

Day 07: Ouro Preto/Belo Horizonte 

In the morning start for a full day tour of Ouro Preto including lunch. Later in the afternoon drive back to your hotel in Belo Horizonte. Overnight (B,L)

Transfer to the airport for flight via Sao Paulo to Manaus. Transfer to Amazon Eco-Park Lodge (B,D) 

Day 09: Eco-Park Lodge 

Today you will go on a jungle tour. During this tour you will get an impression of the variety of the flora and fauna of the Amazon region. After lunch you will go on a tour by boat. (B,L,D) 

Day 10 : Manaus/Salvador 

After breakfast you will go back to Manaus to catch your flight to Salvador da Bahia. Upon arrival pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight. (B) 

In the morning group will go on a sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free for leisure. In the evening the following optional can be booked with our office: Optional Bahia by night (Show & dinner). Overnight (B) 

Day 12: Depart Salvador 

Transfer from the hotel to the airport and flight back home.
