Day 1 Arrive in Havana Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to Melia Cohiba or Melia Habana Hotel. (D)
Day 2 Havana/Vinales
A tour of a production cooperative will allow you to discover the first stages of the process (planting, first fermentation, drying, etc.) and the different methods of production: Tobacco de sol for the internal leaves, and tobacco tapado for the wrapping leaves. Lunch at a local Restaurant. Later they will visit Pancho Cuba`s Farm, an independent veguero (grower) will welcome and host you, on his fields and in his home, and will reveal some of his secrets. The day will end at Viñales, a wonderful tobacco landscape where civilization appears not to have intruded and which serves as an unlikely heaven of peace and colour where silence and tobacco reign supreme. Day 3 Vinales/Havana
Breakfast. Depending on the season, we could visit the despalillo or the escogida, which are key moments in the production of tobacco leaves. After the visit, drive to San Luis to visit Alejandro Robaina`s Farm. Return to Viñales for Lunch at Mural de La Prehistoria Restaurant in Viñales. After lunch visit to Indian cave. Return to Havana. Accommodation at Melia Cohiba or Melia Habana Hotel in HB basis. Dinner at Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Havana
This day will begin with a full day tour of one of the most prestigious manufacturers of the Capital, La Corona, Partagas, or H. Upmann or followed by a sampling session directed by the master torcedor of the site. A Creole lunch will be served at El Aljibe Retaurant. In the afternoon, the will visit Casa del Habano de 5ta y 16 (Habano House) where you will have an explanation about the secrets of the ligada, the subtle dosage of different tobacco leaves which give a cigar its aroma and personality. This will be a golden opportunity to smoke an exceptional Habano. Return to Hotel. At night transfer to Tropicana cabaret to enjoy the dinner at Los Jardines Restaurant and enjoy the show at a well known cabaret. Return to hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Havana
Today you will discover the close link between the Habano and the Santeria visiting the Cuban Yoruba Cultural Association, where you will find an explanation about Afro-Cuban religion widely practised on the island. Afterwards, the first sampling of the day will be held in the fortress of la Cabaña overlooking the bay of Havana in the company of the torcedor. Lunch will be served at the Divina Pastora and is followed by a visit to one of the main attractions of Havana: the Museo de la Revolución, the Museo de los Capitanes Generales, etc. Return to Hotel. At night transfer to La Torre Restaurant for a farewell dinner. (B,L,D)
Day 6 Depart Havana
At convenient time, transfer to Havana’s International Airport. End of the services.(B)
