Day 1. (Wed) Arrive Guatemala City.
Arrival to the airport of Guatemala. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
Day 2. (Thu) Guatemala-Chichicastenango-Panajachel.
Early departure towards quiché maya visiting markets, Temple of St Thomas. Free time for shopping, then continue on towards Panajachel, located at the shores of Lake Atitlán. Lodging. (B)
Day 3. (Fri) Panajachel-Antigua
Boat trip to visit Santiago Atitlán, community of the ethnic group Zutuhil. Will return and continue on to the beautiful colonial city of Antigua, one of the most precious architectural jewels of America. Lodging. (B)
Day 4. (Sat) Antigua-Guatemala-Flores
Morning City tour of Antigua, you will visit some of the cities most important world heritage sites. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport of Guatemala City to fly over to the city of Flores, located in the Petén region. Lodging. (B)
Day 5.(Sun) Flores-Tikal
Excursion to archaeological site of Tikal, one of the most important in the Mayan World. Lunch. Return to Flores. Lodging. (B,L)
Day 6. (Mon) Flores-Yaxchilán-Palenque.
Transfer to the River Usumacinta, where we will navigate to the borderline of Guatemala and Mexico, Bethel / Corozal, towards the archaeological site of Yaxchilán, spectacular for its jungle atmosphere. Continue on to Escudo Jaguar. Lunch. Proceed to continue on to Palenque. Dinner. Lodging. (B,L,D)
Day 7 (Tue) Palenque - Campeche
Visit Palenque, surrounded by jungle. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, King Pakal´s sarcophagus and its fascinating carved gravestone were found. We will view the Sun temple, the Cross temple & the Palace. Lunch on your own. Continue on to the beautiful walled city of Campeche. Dinner. Lodging. (B,D)
Day 8 (Wed) Campeche – Uxmal - Merida
Departure to Uxmal. We will visit: the Guesser Pyramid, the Nunnery Quadrangle, Governor's Palace, the Ballgame Court. Lunch and arrival to Mérida, "the White City", to enjoy a panoramic view: Montejo Avenue, the monument to Motherland, the Main Square, the Cathedral, and Government Palaces. Lodging. (B,L)
Day 9 (Thu) Merida – Chichen Itza - Cancun
Departure to Chichén Itzá, Visit the pyramid known as "the Castle" or Kukulcán temple, the Ballgame Court, the Skull temple, Jaguar’s temple, the Observatory, the One Thousand Columns Square, the Sacred Well. Ahead to beautiful well IK-IL, where we will be able to swim. Lunch. Continuation to Cancun. Lodging. (B,L)
Day 10 (Fri) Cancun
Free day to enjoy the wonderful talcum powdered turquoise beaches or take an optional tour as Isla Mujeres, Xcaret, Tulum/Xel-Há or Cozumel. Lodging. (B)
Day 11 (Sat) Depart Cancun
Breakfast. At convenient time, transfer to the airport. Flight ticket not included. (B)
